7x57 Cabela's special. 3-9 Leupold in Talley's. Bob I have it's twin. I believe I put a 2.5-8 Leupy on mine but would need to find it to be sure. I bought it, zeroed it, shot a buck with it and I don't believe it has left the house since.
I am always looking for factory wood stocks!

7x57 Cabela's special. 3-9 Leupold in Talley's. Bob Here's mine, with 2.5-8x before changing to Talley LW extra lows.

1960 produced Featherweight in 308 Win. Mounted a 3-9x40 VX-Freedom in Weaver QD rings because that scope and those rings are what was still kicking around here. Looking to replace it soon. Haven't shot it yet but the action feels just great and it cycles nicely. The trigger could use some love. Its a heavy SOB but at least its a very crisp heavy SOB. Will be sending that out for some work. Wish I lived Stateside and could just send it to Redneck. Handy little rifle anyhow. Will shoot it soon. It will be joined by a 1948 Standard rifle in 30-06 as soon as the mail wagon puts it in my grubby paws.

Cool rifle Igloo.
I like some of the newer rifles out there, but just love the old P64's.. Amazing how well they stand the test of time.

Beautiful rifles guys! Olgrouser, your Supergrade looks great in the B&C stock, good idea to save wear and tear on the purdy wood it came with! And the Fwt is very classy. Sqweeler, an XTR standard in 6.5x55 like that is one of my dream rifles. How do you like it? Just won this in an auction. Its a 270 Win. Never loaded for or hunted a 270 yet. Going to try it as-is, but really tempted to rebarrel in 6.5x55 or 7x57. You guys are killing me with those rifles!

Nice rifle igloo. Hard to go wrong there. Please tell me you won it with those mounts and scope on top. If so, treat it respectfully with a set of dd's. That rear mount is killing me man. Good scope choice though. Im assuming 4200 2.5-10×40?

Yes sir on all of the above. The optics and rings/bases are included, and I think I will be taking you up on the DDs. That setup is fugly.
The 4200 Elite is actually a scope I'd been looking to eventually buy anyway so it worked out well. I like the glass and construction of the 4200s and those long tubes help on the Winchesters, I find. Pretty good for the money anyway, eh?
I'll get some pictures of it once it and I both get home...hopefully with a less fugly mount haha. Looking into ammo, I see there is some Federal "Terminal Ascent" 136gr available locally. Think I'll just buy that.

You'll like that scope and rifle. Great combo right there. Should be a great shooter. You may want to check that bedding first though. The hot glue is serviceable, most times. But generally gets replaced with devcon, if it were mine. You scored on that one. Congrats!!
